In July 2009 Fr Steve Curtin SJ, Provincial, announced his decision to mandate the Province
Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality and Mission course for all Jesuit ministries in the Australian
Province, including parishes, schools, mission formation, social justice institutions and Jesuit
refugee service. Ignatius, his story, his way of looking at the world, is at the heart of all these works.
Fr Curtin asked the Loyola Institute to facilitate the Province Introduction Course from the beginning of 2010. http://www.loyola.org.au
Since then 78 parishioners and staff from our Parishes of Our Lady of the Way have participated in the Province Introduction courses. This is a wonderful response! Parishioners are again invited to take up the opportunities for 2012.
