CHRISTIAN MEDITATION IN THE PARISH.
We are delighted to announce the opening of the office of the Australian Christian Meditation Community (NSW) upstairs in the parish centre at Lavender Bay. It will be known as the John Main Room.
We are very grateful to Father Tony and the parish for offering us this space, the realisation of a long held hope that we could find a suitable place where all the records and resources so long in our homes in various cupboards and under beds, might find a central location from where we can as a community support the many aspects of our growing community.

As well as the administration and holding meditation groups, we will have a lending library and bookshop of books, CD’s etc on our way of prayer. There will be a reading corner and a noticeboard with photos and articles/news items.
All are welcome to visit the Room and/or to share meditation with us.
For us this simple sustainable way of prayer is deeply nourishing, a way of tasting the peace of Christ within that can infuse our lives and energise so much.
