Parish catechists (scripture teachers) take classes at the 4 state schools in our Parish
We are always looking for volunteers to strengthen our great team. If you have half an hour to spare on a Wednesday or Thursday morning and enjoy working with young children and being part of a dynamic team of volunteers, do give thought to joining this rewarding ministry. Resources and on-going support are provided and no previous experience is necessary. Catechists in the public schools usually work in pairs, so newcomers can come on board as assistants and not feel thrown in the deep end.
