altar_societyWe are going to form an Altar Society at St Mary's.

Members will be involved in the liturgical life of the Parish in a special way. They serve the community in maintaining the Altar, Sanctuary and Sacristy. They set up for mass during the week and also for the celebration of Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals. Other aspects of the ministry include the care for the vestments, Altar cloths, and when necessary, plants and flowers.

Would you be interested to join the Altar Society?

No experience is necessary , just a love of our parish community and the ability to work flexibly in a team in practical ways for our parish liturgical celebrations.

Training will be provided.
