Discerning the call to serve

Saturday 12th March at the St Francis Xavier Hall.

"60 parishioners participated in the morning of reflection last Saturday. Our thanks to Felicity Flynn who facilitated the morning so deftly.
Felicity drew on her own practical experience of volunteering and grounded the reflection in the Ignatian values; I am known and loved by God and Seeking and findings God in all things.
In addition to personal prayer on the parable of the sower and small group sharing, we enjoyed the most delicious morning tea provided by generous participants."

"Last Saturday morning my wife and I attended the Volunteers/Parishioners Morning of Guided Reflection with Father Tony in St Francis Xavier Hall.
There was a very good turnout and like us, most were initially a little uncertain as to what to expect.
It was a very rewarding morning of prayer, contemplation and sharing of our experiences as volunteers in the Parish.
We agreed that we were all answering God‟s call to use our gifts to support those in need in our community, even if it was sometimes with some initial trepidation.
We particularly enjoyed the sharing of our stories with other parishioners we had not met before, and in fact, we left thankful for the opportunity to meet such people and in the process, draw our 3 parishes closer together."
