2011 Ignatian Formation
for Our Lady of the Way parishioners

Many parishioners have taken advantage of the courses on Ignatian Spirituality offered this year by the Loyola Institute at Canisius College, Pymble.  A group of the Parish staff have just completed the Marque 2 course this week, as part of the regular staff formation program. 

This course focuses on the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius, which are at the heart of Ignatian spirituality.

There is still one more Marque One course on offer this year on 10 and 11 November.  Both Marques 1 and 2 will be offered in 2012 and dates will be advised as soon as they are set.

Marque One - Province Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality and Mission  

A national two day course which introduces participants to  the life of St Ignatius Loyola; his worldview; an approach to ministry based on the Spiritual Exercises; Ignatius' foundational insights; accompaniment as a means for relationships; the governance structures and works of the Society of Jesus in the Australian and New Zealand Province.

Parishioners who have already registered will receive confirmation from The Loyola Institute a few days before the start date.
