Formation and Training for 9am Communion Ministers
October 12 & 19, 7.30pm - 9pm St Mary's church
We are holding a formation and training program for communion ministers at 9am mass over two evenings in St Mary's church: 7.30pm - 9pm Wednesday 12 and Wednesday 19 October.
Following attendance at both evenings, there will be a blessing and commissioning during 9am mass as we start the new liturgical year in Advent. We plan to draw up a roster for serving as a communion minister at 9am mass. In this way existing and new ministers will all have the opportunity to serve regularly in this important ministry. We will speak about the practicalities of the roster in due course.
Existing 9am communion ministers are also invited to attend. We are asking the 9am acolytes to come along so we can all meet and have a better sense of who's who!
