Eucharist calls for transformation
- not just of bread and wine but very importantly of all of us. This is what is implied by 'full participation'.
We are delighted to welcome Carmel Pilcher to our Parishes of Our Lady of the Way.
Carmel is passionate about Liturgy and Justice, and took The Prophetic Character of Eucharist as the subject of her Doctoral thesis. She has worked as Liturgical Consultant in the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle and as Director of Liturgy in the Archdiocese of Sydney. She was coordinator of Papal Ceremonies for the Beatification of Mary MacKillop in Sydney 1994-1995 and in Rome 2010 for the Canonisation.
Carmel has written extensively on Eucharist and Liturgy. She contributes to CathBlog , recently posting, " What makes a healthy Church". CathNews
