Invitation to Godly Play Workshop

We are delighted to welcome back Cathy Langdon, Religious Education Adviser for the Catholic Education Office Eastern Region. Cathy is facilitating a practical workshop on Godly Play.
All primary catechists, assistant catechists and prospective catechists are encouraged to attend. A warm invitation is also extended to parents with young children and those involved in our family mass liturgy, particularly those connected with Sacristy Sunday. It’s fine to bring to the workshop any children in your care at this time. They will enjoy it!
Godly Play is a way of helping children to develop a deeper understanding of the stories, symbols and rites of our faith. It has its roots in the Montessori tradition and invites listeners into the stories and encourages them to connect the stories with personal experience, particularly through the use of wondering questions.
