Next Manresa (>55) Event

Thursday, 7 JULY 2011, 9am - St Mary's church, Ridge St side

The Manresa Group - Garvan Institute of Medical Research Tour.

 

The Garvan Institute is internationally recognised as a leader in gene based medical research and is committed to educating the public about their breakthrough medical research. The visit will be approximately one and half hours in duration which will consist of a walk through the beautiful Garvan Building, a brief video and short presentation in the auditorium, followed by the opportunity to talk with our scientists, see a working laboratory and learn about the state-of-the art equipment.  

After the tour tea and coffee in the cafeteria.
We will then go on for lunch at the Bondi Golf & Digger Club at your own expense.
The Group will be travelling to the Garvan Institute by bus which will leave St Mary's (Ridge Street entrance) at 9am. Please have $20 in an envelope with your name on it for the bus. Bookings must be made no later than Thursday 30th June.
