Raise the Roof - SOS Raffle
DRAWN Sunday, 5 JUNE 2011, 8.30am - Star of the Sea church Kirribilli
The roof at Star of the Sea is colourbond steel and is now 41years old
– a good innings for a colourbond roof that has a large gum tree (dropping numerous leaves and small limbs on it regularly) and also a very close proximity to the harbour sea air.
The roof has been repaired and patched over the years to the extent that the patches now meet and there is nothing much left to patch to stop the rain from coming in thus the need to Raise the Roof – SOS Raffle.
Tickets are $5 each and the Raffle will be drawn on Ascension Sunday 5th of June at the 8.30am Mass at Kirribilli.
