If you're not doing anything in particular on Australia Day you are welcome to join us under the Bridge to watch the ferry race and other activities on the Harbour and then return to the Star of the Sea (3.30pm - 4pm ish) for a BBQ - BYO food and drink .
After we eaten we are having an Australian Trivia Evening (just for a fun - no prizes) starting about 5pm.
Last year we had about five teams of six and all had fun trying to answer the questions. A lot of the questions are multiple choice so you don't have to think very much. Why not come along and test you local knowledge, see how much you know about Australia. Here are some sample questions (if you know the answers why not come along)
Which of these Queensland places is closet to the coast (normally) - Ipswich, Longreach, Birdsville or Toowoomba?
When was the 100,000th Holden car produced - 1953, 1958, 1973 or 2001?
Where would you be most likely to see a stromatolite? Sydney Harbour, Northwestern Australia, The Great Australian Bight or Tasmania.
If you are interested and would like to join us for the Trivia please call Annette 0407966024 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more details.
