Though some time has lapsed since last reporting on Parish Redevelopment works there has been an abundance of activity..
Star of the Sea Kirribilli
Council has approve the plans for improved meeting space at Star of the Sea and work will commence in the New Year to be completed in March.
St. Francis Xavier Lavender Bay
* New ramp to upper parking area is installed.
* Hall restoration largely complete - to be completed early in New Year
* Toilets renovation completed
* Landscaping work largely completed - to be completed in March
St. Mary's
Marist Brother Residence
Work on the new Marist Brothers Residence in Carlow Street is moving ahead well - though a little delayed by recent wet weather
Parish Centre, Presbytery and Hall
The Joint Regional Planning Panel at its meeting on 15 December 2010 favorably considered the application. It invited some specific amendment to plans prior to making a decision.
We believe that the application can be suitably amended with amended plans being prepared for lodgment by 7 January 2011.
There is ever likelihood of a formal approval being received through the Panel by early February.
