On behalf of everyone at Holy Family parish, Mt Druitt, may I sincerely thank you for your generosity over the Christmas period. The Parish received over $8000 in cash and also a van full of baby nappies. I wish to thank everyone at the parishes of Our Lady of the Way.
$4000 was converted into $25 vouchers and the remaining money will go towards food which will be given to school mothers through "feed a family for under $10" cooking classes. The Parish in partnership with Jesuit Social Services has enabled Holy Family Social Services to grow and develop in these last three and half years. We can continue to develop through the generosity of Parishes like Our Lady of the Way.
I again reiterate my invitation to you all to visit the parish to see what is going on and see how your generosity has helped Holy Family continue to work for those in need in the Mt Druitt area.
I hope my humble word of thanks is enough to show my appreciation to you all. Pleas know the people of the parish are indebted to you all. Thank you and may 2012 provide you all with wonderful blessings from God.
